IMPORTANT NOTE: the following is an outdated version of the remnant's rules and FAQ. We are no longer a race of man only kin, among other things. Most of the following info does still hold true, however. -sigvard.

1) We are a Heavy RP kin. That being said, we expect our members to be mature and respectful. This includes your actions with fellow members of the kin and those you interact with on your travels (yes, that means you can't get in a name calling fight with griefers. That's what the ignore button is for. Also, the kin is 16+ or older).

2) Our kin channel is OOC (here maturity is not as important hehehe) but in the say channel you should treat your actions and language as if you were in- character. (For those of you joining that are new to Role-Play please have a look at our intro-to-RP thread).

3) You must complete and submit an application here at the kin forums. Following your approval you will be contacted for an IC interview.

4) Last but certainly not least: Have Fun! This is a great game we are all here to explore and, enjoy. This is not a job or chore so enjoy yourself!

5) When you post your application please title it your characters name.

About the Kin

The Remnants of Annuminas is a Race of Man Kin (with possible exceptions) that is based in Bree-land and other parts of the former kingdom of Arnor.

We do not refer to ourselves as the Remnants. Rather we are defenders of men and their allies. This is our in character story:
We are men and women who are uniting together to defend the lands of Men and their allies from the increased assault of the enemy.

Our Theme is simple: As the strength of the enemies of Men grows, it is time that men band together to hold back the storm and protect their homes in the North. We will take the fight to our enemies lair and aid our allies as they have done for us.

This may seem vague. However, there is method to our madness. We do this to allow our kin to develop and adapt easily as the stories of our members develop and unfold. This is not one individual's kin, it is all of ours.


Our goal is to help create a fun atmosphere that is lore (not canon) appropriate for our members to develop their characters and explore all the content this game offers.
We will endeavor to do this through Kin hosted role playing events and organized instances and possibly PvMP.

As we are a new kin there is nothing quite set in stone.
